The Art of Slowing Down
A four-week online Yin Yoga journey
Dates: September 17th & 20th, October 1st & 8th, 2026
Time: 7:30- 8:45 pm
Where: Live online via Zoom
Length: 75 minutes each week
In a world that so often asks us to keep going, this four-week Yin Yoga series is an invitation to do something different: to slow down, become still and reconnect with yourself.
Over four 75-minute live online sessions, we will explore a different quality each week through gently held Yin postures, periods of stillness and meditation.
Week 1 — Ground
Settling back into the body
We begin by arriving. Through grounding postures and an awareness of our connection with the earth, we will explore what it feels like to be supported, present and at home in the body.
Week 2 — Soften
Letting go of unnecessary holding
A quieter exploration of effort and ease. We'll use supported Yin postures and the breath to notice where we might be holding more than we need to — physically and mentally — and explore the possibility of doing a little less.
Week 3 — Release
Creating space through longer, quieter holds
As the practice deepens, we explore what happens when we stay, listen and allow rather than continually trying to change our experience. A spacious practice for the hips and spine, with time to pause and notice between postures.
Week 4 — Restore
Rest, stillness and integration
Our final practice is the gentlest of the four: a deeply restful session using supported postures, longer periods of stillness and a closing meditation, allowing time to absorb and integrate the journey of the previous weeks.

Course fee
Course fee: £44 for the complete four-week series
Booking is for the complete four-week series rather than individual drop-in sessions, allowing us to move through the four themes together.
Can't attend every session live?
Each session will be recorded and a private replay made available to course participants.
All four replays will remain available throughout the course and for seven days following our final session, so you can catch up on a missed class or return to a practice in your own time.
The replay is intended to show the teacher only and not participants, and any group conversation before or after the recorded practice will not be included.
